LAS VEGAS—Given the complexity of the adult entertainment business, several sectors have proliferated and grown into one of the most crucial components of this adult industry. Where do these business leaders in this space engage, discuss, and network during AVN’s Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE)? It is the B2B summit InterNext.
Internext, being in its 28th year, is the leading business-to-business tech conference for the online segment of the adult industry. The show features two full days of networking opportunities, seminars, workshops, and meet-and-greet parties with some of the most influential people in the support segment of adult.
The seminal event debuted its 2025 edition on Jan. 23., and attendees offered a much higher degree of engagement and fanfare than in past years. Nestled in a skybox in The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, InterNext this year offers an intimate experience for business executives to hear insights and expert analysis of what is impacting the adult entertainment industry’s various verticals. These verticals include traffic acquisition, affiliate marketing, legal and professional services, and more.
“So you know, one of the great benefits of having InterNext for a group of folks like us is that it helps bring the noise down a little bit, and it’s easier, socially, to be in a room with your other business-to-business relationships without so many other things going on,” said Brad Mitchell, the owner of MojoHost and an exhibitor.
Mitchell added, “Sometimes it’s just easier to cultivate new and existing conversations with our B2B customers, and Internext is a venue that invites us to do that.
MojoHost is a popular domain and web hosting platform with clients across the world. Sitting at his booth handing out promotional merchandise, he was surrounded by several other exhibitors and InterNext attendees who were catching up after months apart—years in some cases. One of the professionals present during the conversation was an adult industry mainstay, attorney Corey Silverstein. Silverstein has risen to prominence as one of the foremost First Amendment litigators specializing in adult clients.
“We’ve now hit what I would call a ‘pivotal point’ in our industry,” Silverstein said. “It doesn’t matter which sector you’re in, there isn’t any sector that’s not confronted with a legal issue. You know, for me, I think it is important that we continue to have great events like [Internext] so that I can get together with people and spread the message to get a lot of information out that many don’t have.”
An example of Silverstein trying to “spread the message” can be focused on a panel that he is apart set for Jan. 24, Friday. Silverstein, along with fellow attorney Larry Walters, are joined by Jaime Mingot of Gataca, a digital identity solutions software provider based in Madrid, Spain, and Iain Corby, the executive director of the Age Verification Providers Association (AVPA), a trade group representing online safety software providers, to discuss the role of age verification in the adult industry.
Reba Rocket, the chief operating officer and chief marketing officer for Takedown Piracy, echoed the praise for Internext as an event where attendees can stay updated on new industry trends.
“For a company like Takedown Piracy, the days when AVN had a more B2B presence and was less fan-oriented made it easier to connect and get your message across,” said Rocket.
“InterNext has filled that space, and it gives us an opportunity to dialogue with other people who do what we do. Bring in some attorneys, bring in some experts, and those important people to have those hard business discussions that are not just all about sales or promoting our business, but uniting the industry to support the industry.”
DMCA Force, a company in the same segment as Takedown Piracy, is another “heavy hitter” attending this year’s InterNext. The company boasts a clientele of some of the largest fan and camming platforms currently operating and an enforcement success rate that is competitive and comparable to that of this crowded space.
“Our mission is to help creators their content safe as a means to protect their monetization and intellectual property,” explained Lay Alves, communications manager for DMCA Force. “The only way to make…products better is to go to events like Internext.”
The crowd gathered at the MojoHost booth, and all agreed and nodded in praise of this sentiment.
Based on the amount of influence concentrated at an event like Internext makes it one of the most important events in the annual trade show circuit. Given that level of importance, it attracts newcomers looking to make their mark in a crowded market.
