Las Vegas Pediatrician Announces Intimacy and Wellness Retreat Memorial Day Weekend

Artemis Luxury Wellness founder Dr. Amber Hull is well aware that a pediatrician taking an active role in conversations about Human Sexuality sounds odd to some. That’s the problem, she explains.

In a recent blog post, she points out, “In 100% of cases, the need to consult a pediatrician is a direct result of sexual activity.”

“Aside from the obvious connection between human sexuality and parenting, it’s clear to me that my medical credentials uniquely position me to talk about human sexuality as a physical and mental health issue. As a society, we have historically put this topic in a black box of shame and silence.”

Dr. Hull notes that romantic relationships regularly fracture as a result of sexual incompatibility, while a lack of connection and intimacy can lead to countless physical and mental health problems.

“It’s generally understood that we take better care of ourselves when we want a loved one to find us desirable,” she notes. “Again, the intersection between human sexuality and overall health couldn’t be more clear. The question is how do we find the courage to acknowledge and talk about it?”

Artemis Luxury Wellness’ May 2023 Retreat brings together physicians, physical therapists, psychologists, performers and practitioners to facilitate discussion of human sexuality and relationships. Aimed at providing a setting in which important questions can be asked and concepts explored without fear, the event promises to be a transformative experience for those who attend.

“As a physician, I am as comfortable talking about non-traditional relationships and kink as I am talking about pregnancy and prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections.” Dr. Hull continued.  “I use medically accurate terminology to describe sexual function so that people can develop the language to negotiate exploration with their partners.”

Featuring nationally and internationally-renowned Sex Educators and Facilitators with expertise in the fields of medicine, psychology and somatic therapy, Artemis Luxury Wellness can help people in relationships looking to reconnect or deepen the level of intimacy they experience with their partner, Hull says, as well as those who are single and frustrated with navigating the dating landscape in this time of online dating.

The exclusive retreat includes workshops, social networking opportunities and entry to invitation-only social mixers throughout the Memorial Day weekend.

Admission includes meals and snacks, live entertainment by Las Vegas performing artists, and a gift bag of products curated by Pepper Sexual Wellness, valued at $150.

Guests will also have the opportunity to book private sessions with clinicians and therapists.

Adding an air of romance and mystery as well as a level of security, the Artemis retreat’s venue will be a private location — a luxurious estate in the Vegas Valley.

For accommodations, Artemis has acquired a block of rooms at Encore Resort at Wynn, and attendees will be transported via limousine. Discounted rates are available through May 4, 2023. After that date, market rates will apply.

In addition to the summer retreat, Dr. Hull will be hosting a monthly workshop series on Women’s Sexual Health in the VIP room at Pepper in the District at Resorts World. Workshops will include presentations by local clinicians and academics who specialize in Women’s Health and Human Sexuality. Upcoming workshops are scheduled at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 6 and 3:00pm on Saturday, June 17.

Dr. Amber Hull is a private practice pediatrician by day, and women’s pleasure advocate after dark.

Based in Las Vegas, Dr. Hull is a board certified pediatrician with extensive training in Women’s Health, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Newborn Intensive Care.  She has worked as an intern in the US State Department’s Office of International Health and Biodefense examining global issues that impact maternal and child health.

Throughout her career as a pediatrician, she has recognized the lack of attention paid to the mental health and physical recovery of women after childbirth.
