AltStar Awards Presented by Bad Dragon is a weekend long event starting at Sahara Hotel on Friday and Saturday with the main awards show at Sinwave on Sunday. Weekend tickets are available for the event. (Currently no Sunday only tickets and the event sold out last year)
Ceremony and red carpet are at Sinwave in the Downtown Las Vegas Arts District at 1412 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89102. Pool party and conference are at the Sahara Hotel and Casino at 2535 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109. The two venues are 3/4 of a mile apart. We have free valet or self park at the Sahara and expect to have a party bus, plus rideshare and cabs are plentiful in Las Vegas. Please note: due to local laws, this is a 21+ event.

AltStar has been doing press coverage celebrating alt creativity for over two decades and started giving the AltStar Awards to honor excellence in alt work produced in 2010. Nominees and winners are selected based on a combination of votes from the judges panel of editorial and writing staff and suggestions from fans, models, and producers. In addition to the annual star-packed event, AltStar produces AltStar magazine.
