(Hollywood, CA) Once again, multi-award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood has scored many AVN nominations. He, his casts, and crews received an impressive 57 AVN Awards nominations.
AVN threw a very luxurious, well-attended nominations party at the Avalon nightclub in the heart of Hollywood that featured a star-studded red carpet, an open bar, and tasty snacks. Owner Tony Rios announced the top nominations, along with the 2025 trophy girls. Ricky Greenwood was there, walked the carpet, enjoyed a few adult beverages, and was elated to hear his name called out multiple times for Grand Reel and Outstanding Directing – Individual Work.
Ricky triumphed with nominations for Best Directing Portfolio – Varied Range and Outstanding Directing – Individual Work for Digital Playground’s “Gold Diggers.” Four of his features snagged Grand Reel nominations: Dorcel’s “Alive” and “Amuse Bouche” and Digital Playground’s “Gold Diggers” and “Project X.”
Ricky’s features also cornered the market on acting nominations. Dorcel’s “Alive” garnered nominations for Best Leading Actor for Chad Alva, Best Leading Actress for Victoria Voxxx, and Best Supporting Actress for Sophia Locke. Dorcel’s “Amuse Bouche” collected nominations for Best Leading Actor for Nathan Bronson, Best Leading Actress for Lumi Ray, Best Supporting Actor for Derrick Pierce, and Best Non-Sex Performance for Tommy Pistol. Digital Playground’s “Gold Diggers” acquired noms for Best Leading Actor for Scott Nails, Best Leading Actress for Adria Rae, Best Supporting Actor for Alex Jones, and Best Supporting Actress for Vicki Chase and Kimmy Granger. DP’s Dirty Cops obtained nominations for Leading Actress Nicole Kitt, Best Supporting Actor for Scott Nails, and Best Supporting Actress for Jennifer White. And Digital Playground’s Project X secured nominations for Best Leading Actress for Cherie DeVille and Best Supporting Actress for Monique Alexander. Ricky’s features also received noms for scenes DP’s “Gold Diggers” got a Best Three-Way Sex Scene for Episode 5, and “Project X” garnered a Best Foursome/Orgy Scene for Episode 4.
The BTS players in his projects also did well. Digital Playground’s “Gold Diggers” and “Project X” received Best Art Direction nods. DP’s “Dirty Cops” snagged a Best Cinematography nod. Two features, Digital Playground’s “Gold Digger” and “Project X,” and one featurette, Pure Taboo’s “Jane Doe: A Ricky Greenwood Spotlight” were rewarded with Best Hair & Makeup noms. Dorcel’s “Amuse Bouche” received a Best Screenplay – Feature/Extended Work nom, and Pure Taboo’s “A Loving Home Environment” got a Best Screenplay – Featurette nod. DP’s “Project X” snagged a Best Editing nomination. And Dorcel’s “Alive” was given a Best Music nom.
Ricky’s non-feature work was also recognized. AllHerLuv’s “Erotic Premonitions,” Pure Taboo’s received a Best All-Girl Movie or Collected Release nom. Girlsway’s “Crossing the Finish Line” and Parasited’s “Just Friends” scored Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene nominations. Pure Taboo’s “Overachiever” garnered a Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene nom. Pure Taboo’s “A Loving Home Environment” was rewarded with a Best Double-Penetration Sex Scene nod. Dorcel’s “Climax 4” obtained a Best Foursome/Orgy Scene nomination. Dorcel’s “Luxure: My Wife’s Climax” scored a Best Multi-Partner Movie or Collected Release and a Best Tag-Team Sex Scene for Scene 2. Family Sinners “In-Laws 2” earned a Best Taboo Relations Movie or Collected Release nod.
Ricky’s featurettes were also recognized. Hollywood Cash received a Best Actor – Featurette nom for Pure Taboo’s “Preserving Our New Lifestyle” and Seth Gamble got one for “A Loving Home Environment.” “Preserving Our New Lifestyle” also earned a Best Tag-Team Sex Scene. Katie Kush snagged a Best Actress – Featurette nod for Pure Taboo’s “Saving the Family Business” and Melody Marks got one for “Mi Casa Es Su Casa.” Pure Taboo’s “A Loving Home Environment” received a Best Featurette nomination.
His trans scenes also received multiple nominations. Kalli Grace received a Best Trans Acting Performance for TransSensual’s “TS Taboo 9 – Scene 2: Let Her Explore,” and Kasey Kei got one for “Shutting Down the Dirty Massage Parlor” on “TS Massage 6.” TransSensual’s “My Best Friend’s TS Sister 2” scored a Best Trans Movie or Collected Release nod. Two of Ricky’s TransSensual scenes snagged Best Trans One-on-One Sex Scene: Brittney Kade and Tommy King in “Custom Carwash” and Amanda Riley and Roman Todd in “TS Sister in Law 2 – Scene 1: Sneaky Sis.”
