LOS ANGELES—A New York/Los Angeles-based movie distribution and production company will be shooting a documentary on legendary English model, photographer and pornographer Suze Randall at the upcoming AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) in Las Vegas.
Shooting will take place next week at show booth #211, the location for website software company Elevated X, where Randall will appear for the production and to greet show attendees. The event marks Randall’s first public appearance since her official retirement in 2010.
An AVN Hall of Fame member, Randall is acclaimed as the only female photographer of the era to shoot for “the Big Three” men’s magazines—Playboy, Penthouse and Hustler—as well as other adult publications, including High Society. Randall first gained wide-scale notoriety for her photographs of model Lillian Müller, with pictorials featuring Müller as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in August 1975 and, subsequently, as Playmate of the Year in 1976. Her mainstream commercial work includes the British Lamb’s Navy Rum calendar, album covers for recording artists such as Revenge and Robert Palmer, and contributions to a music video for Capitol Records.
She is also the mother of adult industry photographer, director and podcaster Holly Randall, who is also an AVN Hall of Fame inductee, carrying the family legacy forward to impact younger generations of content creators and adult models with her body of work.
AVN Expo attendees will have a rare opportunity to meet Suze and Holly Randall at booth #211 after documentary lensing is concluded. They will be available for autographs and photos with show attendees, as well as signing books, including Suze’s memoir and a book of photography.
When asked to comment on the documentary production at the show booth, an Elevated X representative said, “We prefer the focus to remain on Suze, her remarkable career, her tremendous contribution to the industry, and we are honored to be able to help tell her story.”
