Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, is launching a free, online support group for partners and family members of adult industry professionals, sponsored by Clips4Sale. The six-week support group, “Behind the Scenes”, will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Dr. Monique Martinez-Quiros and will begin on Wednesday, May 7th at 1pm EST.
“Behind the Scenes is a support group designed specifically for partners and family members of adult industry professionals,” says Pineapple Support therapist Dr. Monique Martinez-Quiros. “In a safe and understanding environment, participants can explore the unique challenges they face, share experiences, and build tools to strengthen relationships, foster open communication, and find mutual support within this community.”
Pineapple Support was founded by British performer Leya Tanit in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 15,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
“Support for the adult industry must also extend to those who stand beside performers; their partners, spouses, parents, and friends,” says Tanit. “These individuals often navigate their own questions, worries, and emotional burdens in silence. With this group, we’re creating space for honest conversations and meaningful connection, helping loved ones feel seen, heard, and supported.”
The “Behind the Scenes” support group begins on Wednesday, May 7th at 10am PST / 1pm EST / 7pm CET. Sessions will run for approximately one hour and take place online weekly for six weeks.
