(Los Angeles, CA / July 7, 2025) – Rachel Steele takes center stage in a new spotlight interview with AVN, chronicling her accidental rise to fame, the evolution of her taboo MILF empire, and her vision for the future after nearly two decades in the industry.
In “Catching Up With Rachel Steele”, the Portland-born powerhouse revisits the moment that launched her journey, posing in a wet tank top by the pool for her then-boyfriend, who submitted the photos to a hotwife contest. “I won the contest,” she recalled. “And I thought that was really nice, because I was working hard to make that kind of money… so I went down the rabbit hole, started webcamming, and gave myself a stage name.”
That early momentum led to the birth of Red MILF Productions, where Steele became the first woman to create and distribute taboo MILF content on the internet. “It came from a fan who wrote in and requested a custom video, a stepmother/stepson scene,” she told AVN. “It shot up right to the top on Clips4Sale and stayed in first place for over a decade.”
Steele’s career has been built on fierce independence and uncompromising creative control. “I didn’t have any interest in mainstream porn,” she said. “I wanted to do my own productions, my own way: be in charge of everything, so I could control the kind of content I was putting out… I want the set design a certain way, I want the costuming, directing, the storyline, the casting—I’ve been in charge of all of that.”
Having shot over 5,000 scenes, mostly with amateur talent, Steele says she’s now looking toward the future with fresh eyes. “I’ve never really pushed mainstream commercial work,” she admitted. “And now I am waking up and realizing that. I’m open to all opportunities… I want to keep scaling. I’m interested in writing a book about my life, and maybe do some kind of TV series, if that’s possible.”
With a legacy of viral scenes, a loyal fanbase, and new ambitions ahead, Steele credits her longevity to resilience and self-determination. “I went through a lot in my life – abuse, and drugs and alcohol around me – and I’m really proud that I was able to come up and out of situations,” she said. “I’m grateful to be where I am.”

ABOUT RACHEL STEELE:
With two decades of experience in the film industry, Rachel Steele has established herself as a multi-talented force: as the CEO of Red MILF Productions, Steele has excelled in various roles including actress, producer, writer, director, set designer, costumer and makeup artist, all while building her career from the ground up.
Steele’s entry into the industry was serendipitous; a wet t-shirt picture entered into a hot wife contest by her late husband, Frank Steele, led to her winning and subsequently discovering her passion for webcamming and fetish content creation.
Steele is the first woman to produce specialty taboo films following the artistry of Kay Parker, and she is recognized as the very first taboo/fetish MILF on the internet, beginning her journey in 2006. Building her reputation by working with fetish producers in Tampa, Steele launched her Clips4Sale store in 2007 and a wildly-viral series, Jack, I Am Your Step-Mother!, securing her top-ranking status on the C4S clip charts for over a decade.
Taking a hiatus from the business following the passing of her husband, Steele retreated to her home state of Maine. Seven years later, she found love again with a fan from Turkey, who now assists her as a content manager – and sometime co-star.
In 2024, Steele returned to mainstream filmmaking, working with major production companies like Bang Bros, My Pervy Family, and Filthy Kings, marking her first mainstream work in a decade. From overcoming family-, domestic- and substance abuse to supporting her family through achieving her goals as a performer and artist, Steele looks forward to a bright future with upcoming projects that include a book and a film about her journey from exploitation to personal success and fulfillment.
