(Los Angeles, CA / October 8, 2025) – Hall of Fame performer Tommy Gunn has teamed with award-winning filmmaker Joel Van der Molen and Vandercom Media to present Fans Only: The Human Side of Porn, a candid new documentary that pulls back the curtain on the adult industry.
The 70-minute film captures raw stories from stars such as Alexis Texas, Cherie DeVille, Emma Hix, Alexis Fawx, Danny Mountain, James Bartholet and Holly Randall, exploring both the camaraderie that sustains the business and the harder realities of stigma, health pressures, and balancing work with personal lives. Through candid interviews, the film uncovers the human side of a misunderstood world.
“This project with Joel was a terrific experience,” said Gunn. “We took a lot of time to really try and get the whole picture, in an objective way, and I think it works. It’s an honest look inside our industry, and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
Van der Molen, a veteran filmmaker who was awarded the SIFFA President Award for his hit documentary Gypsy Billionaire, which reached #1 on Amazon Prime, shared his excitement about the project, saying, “This documentary was something I had wanted to do for a long time. Once I met up with Tommy and sorted all the details, the film took on a life of its own, leading us in directions I hadn’t dreamt of.
