(LOS ANGELES, Calif. / April 13, 2022) — Alison Rey discusses career longevity and social media bias against sex workers in her ‘Entertainer Spotlight’ profile in the April 2023 issue of NightMoves Magazine, available on newsstands and at NightMovesOnline.com.
Founded in 1987 and distributed throughout Central Florida, NightMoves Magazine is the second-oldest regional adult publication in the U.S.
In Rey’s feature profile for the nightlife monthly, industry scribe and critic Moutasem Seyam a.k.a. Mutant Mo writes, “Alison Rey has been in the adult industry since 2014 so she was the perfect person to ask about the definition of an ‘industry veteran.’ At only twenty-seven years old she’s accomplished so much with no plans at stopping anytime soon. This is echoed by a decorated catalog of work.”
Rey tells the writer, “A veteran is quite literally defined as ‘a person who has had long experience in a particular field.’ So, since I’ve been in mainstream porn for nearly a decade, I would definitely consider myself a veteran, especially when you consider that most 18-year-olds that enter the adult film industry quit after a year or two. Quite frankly, 9 years in any industry is impressive for any 27-year-old, and I think I’ve earned the title!”
The writer also notes that the treatment of performers such as Rey on “social media networks are another staunch reminder that sex work is still stigmatized on multiple levels.” Rey notes, “I’ve had several TikTok accounts deleted. The first that was permanently banned was @alisonreyx and it had over 440k followers.
“When they deleted my account, I was devastated. If I were posting titillating content or truly violating their community guidelines, I would have accepted the ban, as it would have been my fault for taking the risk of posting less-than-wholesome content. However, since they banned me, seemingly because of my name alone, it took quite a toll on my mental health. It felt like I was being pushed out of society, cut off from the friends and social network I had built on that platform.”
Rey commented onto NightMoves Magazine piece: “I was honored to be chosen for NightMoves’ Entertainer Spotlight, and I am always happy to find a welcoming platform to discuss social media marketing and the challenges sex workers face in the digital age.”
Featuring gorgeous color photos, Rey’s feature article is available on newsstands throughout central Florida, and online at NightMovesOnline.com ( https://issuu.com/nightmoves/docs/nm_finalpg_1-64_april_2023/58 ).

About Alison Rey
A multi-nominated adult performer and model, the alluring Alison Rey exploded into the World of X in 2014, with wholesome girl next door looks, and an emphatically unwholesome sexual prowess. Her powerhouse performances and acting chops have earned Rey an avid fan following via her scene work for studios such as Brazzers, Adam & Eve, Jules Jordan Video, Penthouse, HardX, New Sensations, Naughty America, Hustler Video, TeamSkeet, Mile High Video, Twistys, Missa X, Reality Kings, Mofos and many more.
Rey says her favorite thing about being a part of the adult industry is “feeling free to be myself. Most of my life, I felt like the black sheep because I was different from everyone else, I embraced my sexuality, and I was a little bit weird. I think the outside world is much quicker to judge than the people I currently surround myself with, and I love being able to go to work every day and know that I am accepted for exactly who I am.”
Rey was nominated for “Hottest Newcomer” at the 2016 AVN Awards; “Best Supporting Actress” and “Best Group Sex Scene” at the 2019 AVN Awards; and “Most Epic Ass” at the 2020 AVN Awards; and “Best Sex Scene – All-Girl” at both the 2021 and 2023 XBIZ Awards.
In October 2021, Rey acted as a presenter at the 37th annual XRCO Awards in Hollywood, and joined a roundtable of expert phone sex practitioners to discuss the secrets of their success in a feature for HUSTLER Magazine. In November, she discussed underrated and overhyped sex positions for Mashable, and returned to HUSTLER in January 2023 to address fan etiquette.
The busy Rey was an earth-shaking success when she hit the feature dance stage for the very first time at Gold Club Centerfolds in the Sacramento Metropolitan Area, in April 2022, as well as at her New York City dancing debut in December, and her Las Vegas appearance during January’s AVN Adult Entertainment Expo,
Rey provides fans an unparalleled level of access via her premium OnlyFans.
She resides in Los Angeles.
