LUXEMBOURG/MONTREAL—Online entertainment conglomerate Byborg Enterprises SA on Monday announced its acquisition of Montreal-based Gamma Entertainment.
Gamma Entertainment manages top adult brands including Adult Time, Wicked Pictures, X Empire and more. This acquisition will enable Byborg to expand its network of industry-leading platforms. The two companies expressed that they share the same values and vision for the future, including a commitment to compliance and a shared desire to make the industry safer for both creators and consumers.
Management at Gamma Entertainment will remain in place to ensure continuity, with the exception of president and founder Karl Bernard, who will be stepping down. His legacy will continue through the ongoing work of his team, who will collaborate closely with Byborg Enterprises SA.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gamma Entertainment into the Byborg Network,” said Karoly Papp, co-founder of Byborg Enterprises SA. “Their creativity and production capabilities perfectly align with our goal of delivering top-tier experiences to our customers. The synergies between our brands open up exciting possibilities for collaboration, which will drive growth and elevate our platforms to new heights.”
“I am excited to announce the acquisition of our company by the prestigious Byborg group,” said Bernard. “Leading this company has been an extraordinary journey, and I am deeply grateful to our incredible team for their dedication and the remarkable achievements we have accomplished together. As I prepare to step down, I do so with great confidence in Byborg’s leadership. Our shared values and vision for the future set the stage for even greater success in the years ahead.”
