LAS VEGAS—The ED Awards has announced its first-ever Honors Awards nominees. The new categories will be presented at the ED Awards Show on August 26 in Las Vegas.
In addition to established categories, which are voted on by industry members, this year sees the introduction of several ED Honors Awards that will acknowledge individuals who have made a significant contribution to the industry at large.
The 2025 Honors Board includes (in alphabetical order):
David “Slim” Baucom, owner, MAL Entertainment; Joey Bien, owner, The Treasure Clubs, Shon Boulden, owner, Devil’s Point and The Lucky Devil; Joe Carouba, owner, BSC Management; Jeb Jarrell, PANDA President and DJ; Larry Kaplan, ED legal correspondent; John Kirkendoll, owner, Penthouse Clubs/Kirkendoll Management; Don Kleinhans, owner, 2001 Odyssey; Danny Meyers, veteran DJ/MC; Thom Naylor, GM, Archibald’s; Dave Peacock, GM, Platinum 84; Dawn Rizos, owner, The Lodge; Jenn Shamy, owner, Delilah’s; Jim St. John, Spearmint Rhino; Jeremy Sweigert, DJ, Michael’s Men’s Club; Kathy Vercher, President and CEO, Spearmint Rhino; Jerry Westlund, owner, The Pony Clubs; Curtis Wise, owner, Bucks clubs.
The following six ED Honors Awards will be awarded at the show on Tuesday, August 26, 9-11 p.m., at the Criss Angel Theater inside Planet Hollywood. The show will be hosted by comedian Kellen Erskine and includes a reception from 7:30 to 9 p.m. with complimentary champagne by reception sponsor Luc Belaire.
