CANOGA PARK, Calif.—The election process for the 2024 Free Speech Coalition (FSC) Board of Directors election will begin on November 5. Those who would like to participate in the election, either as a voter or a nominee, must be an FSC member as of Friday, October 4.
Directors serve two-year terms (2025-26) and are tasked with oversight and growth of the organization. Duties include attending quarterly board meetings, assisting with fundraising and initiatives, and serving as ambassadors for FSC.
Below are the key dates and requirements for participation in this year’s election:
October 4—Record Date—Date by which you must be a Free Speech Coalition member in good standing in order to participate in the election.
November 5—Nominations Begin—Two nominations from FSC members are required in order to get on the election ballot. Individuals are permitted to nominate themselves. Nominations close at midnight on the night of November 19.
December 3—Election Begins—Election for open seats on the Board begins on December 3, and ends at midnight on the night of December 10. Results of the election will be announced in the week following the close of the election.
