(Los Angeles, CA / November 28, 2022) — Maitland Ward is officially a five-time XBIZ Award nominee for 2023, earning industry nods for her standout showcase performances in three tantalizing titles for Vixen Media Group studio Deeper.
XBIZ’s reigning Performer of the Year is up for her fourth Best Acting-Lead trophy – Ward won in 2020, 2021 and 2022 – for her stellar role in Drift, as well as for her killer three-way performance with co-stars Seth Gamble and Mick Blue in the categories of Best Sex Scene – Career-First Performance and Best Sex Scene – Feature Movie.
In the smash hit feature from Deeper dynamo Kayden Kross – currently up for nine awards, including Feature Movie of the Year – Ward assumes a winking homage to her mainstream onscreen origins in Drift as a famous and celebrated actress whose real-life adventures are a world away from the virtuous ‘America’s Sweetheart’ persona she plays on her sitcom TV show. “It’s sort of an artistic, more devious version of my real life,” she told XBIZ earlier this year in a revealing on-set interview.
Ward also picked up performance nominations for two other all-star Deeper releases: Best Sex Scene – Vignette for Poetics for Tramps, as well Best Sex Scene – Featurette for Sex Without Love.
“I am so fortunate to be able to creatively express myself for audiences that appreciate what I do and nominate me for awards. Thank you XBIZ for supporting me and considering me for your awards; it means the world to me,” said Ward of the honor.
“Kayden Kross deserves all of the accolades, as well as the Deeper dream team that makes these magical movies come to life in a way that’s indescribable; we’ve come so far over the past three-plus years, and what we have accomplished in that time is nothing short of extraordinary. It’s an honor to be a part of this incredible journey with you all.”
Ward will be in attendance at the 21st annual XBIZ Awards Show, where winners will be announced on Sunday, January 15 at the historic Hollywood Palladium.

ABOUT MAITLAND WARD:
Southern California-born and bred Maitland Ward has quickly become one of the biggest stars in adult entertainment, after an-already successful career as an American model, actress and cosplay personality. After finding fame in the ‘90s on CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful and smash ABC sitcom Boy Meets World, as well as a plum role in 2004’s cult classic White Chicks, Ward decided to shake things up with racy social media content, sexy cosplay and appearing at fan conventions before making the leap into adult film in 2019.
The statuesque (5’10”) all-natural redhead is unique in that not only is she beautiful and built for the adult biz, Ward’s talent as an actress means she can also carry dramatic and comedic scenes with ease. Her playful energy, professionalism and open sexuality earned her an exclusive performance contract with Vixen Media Group and the famous face of the brand’s blockbuster studio, Deeper.
In 2020, Ward won three AVN Awards for Best Supporting Actress, Best Three-Way Sex Scene-G/G/B for her work in Deeper feature Drive and Favorite Camming Cosplayer.
