Seattle (December 12, 2024)–Eversense Toys announced the launch of its fundraising campaign on IndieGoGo to support its creation of a new line of sex toys designed for trans*, non-binary, intersex, and gender non-conforming bodies.
“Our goal is to take dysphoric intimate experiences and transform them into gender affirming self care,” said Matty Hennessey, CEO and founder. “For folks who physically transition, instead of feeling confused about navigating the development of their new body, our team has worked tirelessly to create something that will help them celebrate their true selves. But this is not just for trans people. We also focus on non-binary and intersex folks. We’re thrilled to bring it to the public and invite everyone to join us on our mission to create a new community of learning and fulfilling experiences.”
Eversense’s designs are not exclusive only to trans folks that transition. They are also adaptable for cisgender people, people that do not want to or cannot physically transition, and those that have gender-affirming procedures. The company’s goal is to get people that are normally excluded from the sex toy industry excited about exploring their bodies. This includes those with disabilities, people of all sizes and our community elders. By creating toys that adapt to as many bodies as possible, Eversense also wants users to be able to buy a toy that will work for them at any point, whether they’re transitioning or not.
Eversense Toy’s fundraising page is now live! They hope to raise $30,000 before January 24th, 2025 to pay for initial manufacturing of their first two products, to compensate their staff, and allow the company to promote their toys at events in 2025.
