Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, is launching a free, online support group dedicated to individuals who are or suspect they may be on the autism spectrum. Sponsored by Chaturbate, the six-week “Spectrum Support Group” will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Haley O’Bryan and will begin on Monday, April 7th, at 8 PM EST.
“This group provides a gentle, embracing space where members can share their experiences and gain insight on how to navigate life as a neurodivergent individual,” says O’Bryan. “Together, we will explore strategies for self-care, social interaction, and personal empowerment, all while fostering a supportive and understanding community.”
Pineapple Support was founded by British performer Leya Tanit in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 14,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
“We are incredibly grateful to Chaturbate for their support in launching this much-needed group,” says Tanit. “Performers on the autism spectrum face unique challenges in both their personal and professional lives. This group will offer a safe and inclusive space for them to connect, share, and receive support tailored to their needs.”
The Spectrum Support Group will begin on Monday, April 7th, at 5 PM PST / 8 PM EST / 2 AM CET, and will run for six weeks, with each session lasting 60 minutes. For more information and to reserve a spot, visit pineapplesupport.org/support-groups.
