Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health non-profit, will attend the TES Affiliate Conference in Cascais, Portugal this week, where it will host a discussion about how the community can better support adult content creators.
The discussion, “Sane, Secure, Sexy?” will take place on Friday, February 24th. Representing the organization at the conference and hosting the discussion will be Leya Tanit, founder and CEO of Pineapple Support, Michelle Marriott, Community Outreach Chair of Pineapple Support, and Andra Chirnogeanu, Head of Business Communication of Stripchat.
“We are going to have a very frank and open discussion about how we can help content creators feel supported and appreciated by the platforms they use, as well as by the industry as a whole,” says Tanit. “We need to make sure that those who work in front of and behind the camera feel confident and supported when confronted with difficult situations. Together we can create a more sustainable and attractive adult industry.”
Tanit founded Pineapple Support in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has so far connected over 8,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost, therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
The discussion, “Sane, Secure, Sexy?” will take place on Friday, February 24 at 11AM. Additional details and the full schedule of events during the TES Affiliate Conference can be found by visiting tesaffiliateconferences.com/schedule.
