“The themes of anxiety and depression that we’ll be exploring during the summit are of paramount importance right now,” says Pineapple Support founder and CEO Leya Tanit. “Our Mental Health Survey shows that 75% of over 1,000 respondents have suffered from anxiety and 65% from depression. During the summit, we’ll address these challenges together and strive for a brighter future in mental health awareness.”
Tanit founded Pineapple Support in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 12,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
“We’re so excited to bring back the Pineapple Summit for another year, with some of the top therapists and experts from around the world joining to explore the global increase in anxiety and depression,” says Tanit. “Throughout the two-day event, we’ll discuss different aspects of mental and physical health, therapy and coping skills, giving insights and advice focused on adult industry performers. This might be the most important summit you attend!”
