LOS ANGELES—PLBY Group today announced the appointment of Gyorgy Gattyan to its board of directors.
Mr. Gattayan leads Byborg Enterprises, the parent company of brands like LiveJasmin, Cherry.TV, LoyalFans and others.
Gattyan’s appointment to the board follows a long-term license agreement reached with Byborg and PLBY in November 2024. This agreement followed a $22.35 million investment by an affiliate of the company, also controlled by Gattyan, and another $25.44 million investment.
According to a press statement by PLBY Group, “Mr. Gattyan brings to the board of directors over ten years of experience as an entrepreneur, digital technology executive, and director and chairperson of multiple organizations.”
“Gyorgy has established multiple successful, web-based businesses, making him a valuable addition to the Board, as Playboy continues to pursue a digital-focused, asset-light business model,” explained Ben Kohn, PLBY Group’s CEO.
“I’m excited to welcome Gyorgy to PLBY Group and have his experience and support as the company returns to growth.”
Byborg also recently completed the acquisition of Montreal-based Gamma Entertainment, which owns major brands such as Adult Time, ASGmax and Wicked Pictures.
