The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will once again reschedule the inaugural voyage of its first ship, this time until October.
The 298-passenger Evrima was scheduled to sail on Aug. 31 from Athens (Piraeus) after more than 30 months of setbacks. The line blamed the delay on supply chain issues and a delay in other materials needed for the final stage of finishing.
The superyacht-inspired ship was originally anticipated in January 2020. It is now scheduled to sail on Oct. 15 from Barcelona.
The line is reaching out to affected guests and their travel agents. Those impacted by the change can reschedule their voyage or be reimbursed.
