LOS ANGELES—Beloved adult industry and gentlemen’s club travel agent for over three decades, Vicki Stover of TravelSource, passed away Monday surrounded by her family, after her fourth courageous battle with cancer. She was 82.
Stover, the mother of award-winning feature dancer and former adult film star, Lexi Lamour, was a trusted travel professional in the touring careers of many Hall of Famers and industry legends. News of Vicki’s passing has led to an outpouring of heartfelt tributes from around the country.
Vicki was more than a travel agent to hundreds of feature dancers and adult stars for over 30 years. She was a friend and a confidant for many and will be remembered for her professionalism, patience, and always going the extra mile to make sure those she arranged flights and travel for always got to their destination safely, whether it was a club appearance, a convention, shoot or even much-needed vacations. While she also handled many corporate clients over the years, as she transitioned to a limited schedule, the one job she wouldn’t give up was working with those in the industry.
“Vicki made sure you were always taken care of,” said Dan Davis, former editor of Club and Genesis magazines, and current director of operations for Exxxotica. “We worked together for well over 20 years, and she was more than just a trusted voice on the phone. She was a friend and a member of our family. Vicki would sit on hold with an airline for hours to help someone if they were stuck, and always went the extra mile day or night. When she had the opportunity to finally come to a show in 2024 to Chicago, she was so excited to meet many of the stars she worked with in person for the first time. She told me, and anyone and everyone, it was one of her favorite weekends ever. While we are glad she is no more pain, I know all of us here at Exxxotica will miss her terribly and extend our deepest sympathies to her family and friends.”
Numerous AVN Hall of Fame stars and adult personalities remembered Stover for her tireless contributions to the community and the way she made all her clients feel special.
“There are going to be a lot of lost and confused strippers out there in the wild world of travel moving forward, but in all seriousness my heart hurts so much,” said her beloved friend and adult legend Stormy Daniels. “She was more of a mother to me than my own and I imagine there’s many girls out there that would say that the same. She was a special lady and will leave a hole in my heart and the world that will never be filled.”
“Vicki has been my friend essentially the entire duration of my career,” said Brett Rossi, longtime adult star and feature dancer. “It didn’t matter what time of the day I called, she was always there for me. She accepted all of us industry girls for who we were as people and not what we do to survive. I’ll miss my long talks with my friend, but most importantly her witty sense of humor and her ability to make me burst into laughter even during the saddest of times.”
“Not only have we lost a pillar of our community, but to many of us Vicki was a member of the family,” Mike Moz, Vixen Media Group Head of Casting, and longtime friend of Vicki recollects. “She was someone who genuinely cared about people. There are countless stories of feature entertainers on the road needing assistance and Vicki would always be the one you could count on to answer the phone. She was always there for the girls. For me personally she helped me through some tough times…I already miss her.”
Adult legend Tera Patrick said, “Vicki was a truly remarkable woman—kind, resourceful, and endlessly gracious. She always went above and beyond to help, no matter the circumstance. Her warmth and generosity shone through in everything she did. Vicki’s light reached far beyond travel; she touched lives with genuine care, wisdom, and heart.”
“Her energy and kindness were unmatched along with her patience to manage all of us girls and our travel,” said veteran star Phoenix Marie. “Vicki always treated us like helping us with every event was her biggest blessing. We lost a true warrior and amazing person.”
“Vicki, I have always said, [was] my left arm when it comes to my business for 27 years,” said Dave Michaels of A-List Features dance agency. “I never wanted to have to [do this] without her. But more than that, she was one of my best friends. She loved this business and the girls so much. She is absolutely irreplaceable, and will forever be remembered within this industry as an angel flying with you.”
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services for the public, but she wanted her friends to celebrate her life. Vicki is survived by her daughter, Lexi, and her sons, Rodney and Jim, and four grandchildren and preceeded in death by one grandson.
The family extends extreme gratitude for the outpouring of sympathies and remembrances of their mother in life and death.
