Paige came up with the idea for Pypr after being frustrated for years when she had to do her taxes and ask for help with money. Working in businesses that don’t run from 9 to 5, she always felt judged when she had to explain and defend her Gen-Z job to accountants who raised their eyebrows. When Paige couldn’t find an accountant or tax service that treated her with the respect she knew she earned, she opened her own service where no one would judge her.
She saw older workers take advantage of millennials and Gen Zers because they thought they didn’t know any better. Paige also found that finance and tax pros didn’t make enough information easy to find. Who else would help younger clients understand how their taxes work if these professionals didn’t? This is where the idea for Pypr came from, and Paige and her team have been working on the growth of the company ever since.
Paige’s dream is for people to be financially independent and proud of themselves when they file taxes and take charge of their money. In a world where being different is judged, she wants to lift everyone up and give them power. Today, Paige is still building and growing the Pypr community and giving tax and finance services to everyone without making them feel bad. In the end, her goal is to shake up a traditional business and make it easy for everyone to get financial information and services.
